Pledge of non-allegiance to the Republican party

Well, since (mouth) Rinse Prissbutt and the RNC are so focused on "Pledges", I thought I'd offer mine:

“I, DaBlade of Chattering Teeth, affirm that if a true conservative is not the 2016 Republican nominee for President of the United States, I will NOT endorse the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is. I further pledge that I will quite possibly vote for an independent or write-in candidate if the 2016 Republican nominee is Bush, Christie, Graham, Kasich, (and a few others to be named later).

Baleeeeve dat.

  1. My pledge is to the establishment politicians and not to my blog friends who feel differently. Hope this won't be a wedge issue with my friends. We can agree to disagree. I know many still saying what I used to, and that at the end of the day we should pull the lever for the Republican as the lesser of two evils. For me, I don't see any difference between them. Not voting will be a big deal. It will be the first time I ever miss since my first vote for Ronald Reagan. That country is long gone.

  2. Oh, DaBlade.....OH, DaBlade.
    "say what?" is right.
Hillary? Really? So many Republicans didn't vote last time to "teach America a lesson"...now we barely recognize our country. At least we'd have a sliver of a chance.
    Say it ain't so.

  3. I respectfully disagree and reject that argument. I'm just one man with one pledge. I don't purport to speak for anyone else. I don't see a difference btwn Cankles or the jebster . Let's hope I do vote because then it would mean we had a worthy candidate.

  5. Ed, On Trump, I share your concerns. I would like to wax nostalgic and turn the clocks back to a time when the culture wasn't upside down and there was such a thing as the constitution. I just think a just and righteous person may need to temporarily use their pen and phone to undo obama's damage.

I have always been suspicious of Trump, but I am no longer just suspicious of who the establishment republicans are, after watching what they've done with the power we gave them.I will not waste one more vote on them.

I am a Christian first. Trump is in my dog house after stating that Kim Davis should have followed the law. If you're for jailing Christians, you're out in my book. As I've said before, I'd like to see Cruz or Santorum rise from the ashes of the Trump establishment grenade.
