20-pound live lobster found in luggage at Boston airport

BOSTON (AP) — The Transportation Security Administration says a 20-pound (9-kilogram) live lobster has been spotted in a passenger's luggage at Boston's Logan International Airport. TSA spokesman Michael McCarthy says the lobster found Sunday in the passenger's checked luggage at the airport's Terminal C is the "largest" he's ever seen... McCarthy says the lobster was in a cooler and "cooperated quite nicely with the screening process."
Thankfully, the giant stick of butter perp was released after greasing several TSA hands and was on his way.

  1. Lol. Too bad stick o'butter got away. I think we'd need a lot of butter for a lobster that size. BTW it's legal to board a plane with a lobster in your carry on luggage as well as luggage that is checked. Not a good time for flight delays though.

    TSA reached into the box,
there they grabbed onto a rock,
    It wasn't a rock,

  4. Bob Gromber: Lol. Very clever.

DaBlade: We saw the B52s live in a Tampa dive when they opened for the main act, Kid Creole and the Coconuts (who?). The B52s hadn't broken out yet, but we saw the potential in the group that night. It was all good until a melee ensued and full cups of beer and ashtrays were thrown and all hell broke loose. Everyone rushed the doors and the exits were inadequate. I was glad to get out with my life and that of my husband.

I got over it and if you check my car today, I still have CDs of the B52s and my millennial daughters like their music, too. I can't blame them because it still sounds fresh today.

  6. Don't be too hard on yourself, my girls prefer Star Wars to Star Trek. It's like a dagger to my heart. I mean I like Star Wars, but I will always love Star Trek.
