Politrickin'

Rush is right when he says that Barack Obama is "Nothing new. He's Carter without the cardigan".

President Bush is right to worry about an Obama administration and his disasterous foreign policy eventually "leading to another attack on the United States".

I am right (I always am) when I say that Obama has the potential to be the absolute worst president in our nation's history (on the heels of one of our better ones)...

But Barack would also positively KILL doing standup. In fact, after watching this video, I believe that the presidential debates should use a ROAST format.

  2. Hey, do you think media will hold Sen. McCain accountable for the words of the Rev. John Hagee, whose endorsement McCain actively pursued? The Rev. Hagee called Catholicism the "Whore of Babylon", and said that
    href="http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=90508742">Hurricane Katrina was God's retribution
for a planned gay rights parade in New Orleans.

Hmmm...I've been to NOLA a couple of times since then, and it looks like the French Quarter, the site of the annual parade was completely missed by Katrina.

I'm eagerly awaiting to see which 70's sit-com you compare the McCain-Hagee connection to.

Also, did you hear, President Bush is making a personal sacrifice in order to support the war. A suspension of the tax cut for wealthy Americans? WWII style rationing? A raise in the budget for returning veteran's health care?

No, but he's giving up golf for the duration of the war.

Maybe you guys should try that.

McCain Backer Hagee Apologizes for Catholic Slur
May 13, 2008 · John Hagee, an influential San Antonio televangelist who endorsed Sen. John McCain, apologizes to Catholics for criticisms he'd made about the church. McCain is campaigning in the Pacific Northwest.

The Rev. John Hagee -- who in some eyes threatened to become to John McCain what the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. became to Barack Obama -- has apologized for remarks that offended many Catholics.

Catholic League President Bill Donohue said in a statement today that he accepted the apology and any dispute is over.

I don't recall the "other" Pastor apoligizing... and you KNOW how you guys are re: apologies.... Anything goes as long as there's an apology.

  5. I also don't recall Sen. Obama persuing the endorsement of any controvertial pastors, as Sen McCain did.

The big difference is, that Obama gets persued by the media for weeks on end, and barely mentions it in McCain's case.

Just where is that "liberal media" when you need them?

  6. On that point I will agree. They DO seem to be beating the story to death while so many issues are affecting the "masses" out here in flyover country.
