Hey Media - If you love Obama so much, why don't you marry him!

McCain team slams media 'love affair':
Back in the United States, the wall-to-wall coverage was too much for the campaign of Obama's Republican rival John McCain -- which accused the US media of being "in love" with the 46-year-old Illinois Senator.

"It's pretty obvious that the media has a bizarre fascination with Barack Obama," the campaign said in an email unveiling a new video, featuring television reporters praising Obama.

"Some may even say it's a love affair. The media is in love with Barack Obama. If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny."

  1. Interesting discussion on Hannity & Combs last night on the topic. Hillary campaign exec (cant remember who) admitted to sean that Barak gets unfairly favorable mainstream media coverage but siad McCain should get over it basically because the media is correct in favoring Barak. It was clear to me and I think most conservatives who understand the former purpose of the media i.e., to report the news in an unbiased noneditorial fashion for the good of the public to make up their own damn minds who to vote for, that this is no longer and has not for a long time in fact been the de facto purpose of the media. The espousers of the "Fairness Doctrine" with respect to non mainstream media simply miss the point on this. It is not okay for reporters of the news to editorialize instead and blanket one candidate with 70% favorable coverage to manipulate opinion. To question this sad and sorry state of the media is not "whining" or "bellyaching" such that we should "get over it". Oh Huntley & Brinkley where have you gone???? Goodnight Chet
